The Sims 4 The YA Trope Challenge Rules

Hello! These are the rules for my new Sims 4 Let’s Play Challenge, a.k.a the YA Trope Challenge. The first part is now live on my youtube channel but this post will detail the rules for those who want to participate in the challenge themselves!

Objective: Play a game of Sims and through the life of a teen/young adult incorporate as many YA Tropes into their story as possible.

1. Start in a house worth 100,000 simoleans or less.

2. Start with a Young Adult or Teen sim and 10,000 simoleans

3. Dead/No Parents but any other family is allowed

4. Can cheat five skills to start for story and realism but you can only max out two of the skills and the rest have to be below or 3 if it’s a minor skill.

5. Aging must be on and lifespan set to long

6. If you have seasons the seasons must be set to 14 days.

7. You may use a potion of youth three times and ambrosia twice on any character.
